Increase Your Website PR with the New SEO Rules For 2009

How many of us actually know and realise the value of internet when it comes to hunting information? With Internet access, all possible information in the form of history, dictionaries, facts and figures, autobiographies, reviews etc are available at your fingertips with a few keystrokes.
For any SEO rules to work efficiently, the search engine developers work closely on something called as the Page Rank which is also referred to as PR. This ranking system is cleverly utilised or followed by all the websites which are amongst the first 10 rankings on the search engines.
There are several factors which contribute to the rankings of a website. They are the content of the website, the keywords used, the constant updates on the websites and lastly the number of other websites that have posted a link to it. The ideal ranking that you can get is 10. If you rank anywhere about that, obviously you are doing a great search engine optimization job for your website.
The new SEO Rules put forth in 2009 also considers the duration of your registration with the search engines. This is done to keep a check on spamming websites from being listed on the search engine. The submission of a website with any of the available search engines will need to be at least one year old to prove that it is a legitimate website.
The SEO Rules is aimed to save visitors surfing the net from going through the spamming websites which might have fake content or might have been expired. These days, due to several new websites being created every day, the quality of all of them is not that great. Most of them disappear or are dead within the span of 3 months. Moreover, listing of new websites is not given preference as these new sites might not contain the real content in them.
There are many SEO Rules that have been put forward till today but the most important one suggests website owners to add original, relevant and informative content to their websites. It is also important that you create a resource page that maintains useful links for the users using your site.
The use of relevant keywords which are unique is by far the best way that you can increase your PR on any search engine. Online searches and the abundance of data and information can sometimes be overwhelming for an average business owner and a corporate employee to search through. Hence it is essential to keep things simple and follow the main SEO Rules so that you can get them to visit your website without causing much of an inconvenience to them.
To attain popularity, your website should give visitors the ability to comment on it. Your PR level will shoot up the scales if visitors like your website good enough to post a link of it on their own website. Keeping your website updated and informative is another SEO Rule that you might need to follow to get your rankings go higher. Any search engine will not be ignorant of a well written content with an informative background and also particularly if it gets votes from other websites. Thus it is important to keep in mind all of the above mentioned SEO Rules to increase your PR on search engines.
