Why You Should Use Google Analytics On Your Web Site

Google offers a free statistical tool to analyze your website visitors. It is called Google Analytics. It is very easy to use. Once you sign up with the service and add the URL of your website, you get a snippet of Java Script code that you add onto every web page you want to track.
Google Analytics tracks visitors from all sources, including display ad campaigns, PPC (pay per click) campaigns, organic searches from search engines, email marketing, bookmarks, websites that have your inbound links, and other digital sources like URLs embedded in PDF files or Power Point slides. It designed for online marketers who want to track visitors to their sites for improving user experience and conversions.
Why do you want to use Google Analytics? There are several reasons for that.
You want to know if your marketing campaign is going in the right direction or not. For example, if you are doing article marketing to drive traffic to your site, you want to know the article directories that are the most effective in sending visitors to your website.
You don’t want to waste your time submitting articles to directories that are not sending you any traffic or a very low amount of traffic. You can write more articles and submit to only those directories that are sending you a good amount of traffic.
If you are using a pay per click (PPC) marketing campaign, you should use split testing to test the effectiveness of different ads. You want to know which ads are performing better than the others in terms of conversions. If you integrate Google Analytics with your AdWords PPC campaigns, you will be able to track the effectiveness of each ad you are using in your PPC campaigns.
Using data from Google Analytics, you will be able to find the pages that are getting the most traffic from search engines, bookmarks and inbound links. Knowing this information helps you spend time on optimizing only those pages that are getting the most traffic.
You can work on providing improved user experience of your site on those high traffic pages. Make it easy to navigate those pages from anywhere in your site. Place a “What is new” about your site on those pages.
If you’re selling ads on your site to advertisers directly, you need a visitors portfolio of your site. This portfolio contains information about the number of monthly unique visitors to your site, visitors’ geographic locations, the number of page views per visitor, the bounce rate of visitors, etc.
The more information about your visitors you can provide to your prospecting advertisers, the better is your chance of commanding a premium price for advertisement spots on your site. Google Analytics will help you develop a visitors portfolio of your site.
Even if you are not going to use visitors data immediately, you can still sign up for Google Analytics and let the tool start collecting visitors data about your site. When you need those data, you will have them in your Google Analytics account.

Why You Can’t Make Money On The Internet
You visited a few times and I would appreciate your thoughts on this post, why not comment?
A few years ago, it was easy to make a few dollars on the Internet. You simply placed an ad on Google and let it run.
Clicks could be purchased for a little as 5 cents. With a little luck, a person could get customers.
But then a guy began to apply sales technics and psychology to produce sales without content. Using the combination of fear, greed and shortage, he began to produce massive income.
Then he started training others to do this and soon a group of men was dominating the Internet, promising much and giving little. They took in thousands of dollars and benefited very few.
Today it is so out of control that the government is beginning to crack down and for a change, that is good. To see these people hit with massive fines is refreshing.
You see their ads everywhere. Over night wealth, make money on autopilot, copy my ad, free report, etc, etc. Appealing to people with the idea basically that they can get something for nothing.
They began bidding on popular keywords and drove the price through the roof. With calculated effort, they began to get the top places on Google search.
When the sales begin to drop, they employ a cadre of affiliates to milk the market dry. Then they start a “new” launch, offering similar things with a different twist.
New people are suckered in and spend thousands more. When they finally realize the program does not work, it is usually too late to get a refund.
So the “gurus” keep marching on, devising new ways to peddle worthless, regurgitated information to the masses. They enlist affiliates to help and finally the word gets around and people stop buying.
Then you see their inflated prices cut drastically in a effort to sell more stuff. They begin to offer ‘free’ things in order to get a person on the mailing list.
Then the person gets hit with a barrage of ’special’ offers and “buy more stuff” until they finally tire of the game and unsubscribe.
You can always tell because these offers create a need to “buy now”. All merchants use some form of this in their advertising in order to motivate buyers.
But the hucksters imply you are getting the whole enchilada until you buy. Then suddenly, you find that for only $$$ more, you can get an “upgraded” version.
Then more emails offering you ad ons etc. You continue receiving the emails until you either buy or unsubscribe. It is a continuing practice because it works for them.
This makes it almost impossible for the “little” guy to make any money on the Internet. Because now the shysters have moved into “niche” markets as well.
The reason 97% of people fail with Internet marketing is because they just keep doing the old thing over. Simply changing gurus and offering the same old thing in a different package is a recipe for failure.
It was Albert Einstein who said: doing the same thing over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.
It is still possible to make money on the Internet, but it is a lot more difficult than it sounds. Whether you have a job or work from home, The reality is, you do have to show up for work every day.
Sorry to tell you this, but, the idea of making money without working is a pipe dream.
