Make Them Buy it Now if You Can

An Internet Marketer welcomes sales. He welcomes sales now and in the future. Having said that it is your job as an Internet marketer to help your customers or potential customers see the value of purchasing your product right now. Although future sales are welcome immediate sales insure that there will be some immediate profit. No matter how much your website visitor likes your offer right now and no matter what the visitors intention is regarding returning at a later date to purchase, once they leave they may never come back.

Realizing that an immediate sale is better for you and in fact better for your customer, providing you are offering him a valuable product that will help him to improve his life, it behooves you to do all you can to make an immediate sale happen.

That is where the One Time Offer (OTO) comes in. An OTO is an offer that your customer can get right now. Furthermore an OTO will not be offered again in the same way nor will your visitor ever be given the same deal.

Your customer is informed in your OTO that this is a very special deal and he will never see this particular deal again. Thus he must act now or lose out.

Be sure to make sure that if you are presenting your offer as a real one-time offer that you take all reasonable precautions to make it a true OTO. If you are known by your customers as someone who claims to be making an OTO but they know that they can really get the exact deal at a future time you will lose credibility in the eyes of your potential or current customers.

Where can you make OTOs?

This is not an exhaustive list, however, it should get you thinking about where you can use this valuable sales tool.

1.    Put an OTO on your thank you page where your visitors are taken after they sign up for a free gift.

2.    Put an OTO on the actual sign up page giving your visitors a chance to take advantage of your great offer at the same time they are getting your original offer.

3.    Make your limited time or limited quantity offer right on your original sales page, be sure to inform your visitors how and why this is a OTO. Is it limited for “today only” or “this week only?”

4.    After the purchase of your product, send a thank you email to your customer and make the OTO in the email.

Yes, using a One Time Offer can increase your sales while at the same time give your valuable customers a chance to benefit by getting a great deal right now. This is certainly a win/win situation.

How to Write an Article – Write That First Sentence and Then Go From There

Don’t hesitate to begin writing an article. The hardest part of an article to write say many article writers is the first sentence.

You might feel that thinking of a title for your article or composing the body of the article is the hardest part. For most this is not true. Put that first sentence down on the blank page and then just keep writing.

Break it down.

The first sentence gives birth to your article, now it just has to grow. Yes break it down into segments. For the purpose of short article writing the breakdown could be something like the following.

1. The first sentence gives birth to the article and is the beginning of the introduction.
2. The introduction of the article is usually just one paragraph. The introduction leads into the body of the article.
3. The body of your article can be two or more paragraphs. The last sentence of the final paragraph of the body of your article should provide a natural lead in to your conclusion.
4. Your conclusion should summarize your article and move your reader to take action.

It’s as simple as that. Now, let’s discuss each segment of your article.

The first sentence.

You have an idea in your mind. There is a lot of information “rolling around” in there but you want to turn your knowledge into an article. Nothing happens on the blank paper or empty word processor screen until you start writing.

Don’t labor over this process just write that first sentence and continue to build from there. Once you get your article written you can edit it and rewrite what needs to be rewritten including that first sentence.

Here are some examples of first sentences that could be put down on a blank page to start the creative juices flowing. The article is going to be about how to wash a new car.

1. Here is what I know about how to wash a new car. (then you would just write down what you know. Stating it in the first paragraph, that is your introduction (why this article is necessary.) Or you might write as your first sentence…
2. The new car finish on your car deserves special care when you wash it. Or…
3. Do you want your new car to look new for years to come? (There are literally an endless number of “first sentences” you could come up with.)

After the first sentence you only need the second sentence, then the third sentence etc. etc. Now comes the body, finally the conclusion.

Yes when you break your article in to little bites instead of approaching it as one big project you will be turning out well-written articles in no time. From there you will find the leap from articles to reports to eBooks is not that big. You can do it.

Get started. Write that article. But, first, write that first sentence.

Different types of Internet Marketing

There are many different kinds of marketing for the internet. Due to the vast exposure of the internet, the different ways to create business is endless. It only takes time to create and utilize the different methods.

Here are some different methods of internet marketing that will bring customers to your business. These methods have been used and produce high quality results.

Create a forum on the internet about the services and products the business provides. This forum will include collecting information from the visitor. Request the name, email address, and the extent of their interest on the products and services. Do not ask for contact information such as a telephone number, no one wants to receive a phone call from a salesperson.

Create a database of the collected information. Use the information to make further contact with the forum visitor. This is done by writing a “thank you for visiting the forum” email to each visitor. Include the website address and email address of the contacting businessperson to help imbed the information into the minds of the consumer being contacted. They will appreciate the response that shows them they were noticed and appreciated.

Once the database of visitors has been established, take it a few steps further. Create a monthly newsletter with updates and new product information. Keep the forum visitor’s interest centered on your business. Send the monthly newsletter to all the forum visitors. This increases the odds of making a sale.

Add to the products and services rewards and benefits such as for discounts for purchasing some much money on the products. An example is for spending $100 the discount will be 10%. This increases the desire to buy since everyone loves to save money. Getting a discount will supercharge the sales.

Another way to market on the internet is sell “limited time prices” for services and products. Even if you are not going to really discontinue the items, it will create an intriguing offer to the consumer if they feel they will not be able to get the services and products in the future at the current price.

State the products will “available for a limited time only.” This again creates the need to “get it now” response from the consumer. They will feel they might miss out if they do not respond at the specific time. They will not want to chance missing a great offer either.

Many consumers are impulse buyers. They will purchase many things on absolute impulse because the products or services sounds like something that will make their life so much easier and better if they buy it right now. Create the need and desire for immediate purchase by detailing the exceptional features of the product and services. Let the consumer know they will benefit from the product. State reasons the items will create be something they “must have.”

Using the techniques to draw the consumer to the products and services will generate revenue and profits. Show the consumer they need the products and services, and watch them make the purchases from you.
