How To Use Videos To Build Your E-mail List

If you have spent any time recently on internet marketing forums, you cannot have failed to notice the burgeoning interest in online video. Google’s high profile acquisition of YouTube has brought video right into the public eye. With YouTube it is possible to create a video, and then paste some code into your own site, and have the video play there. If you do this, you can have the video play with a squeeze box right underneath it. Your video content will explain to the viewer what is to be gained by signing up. This can be a powerful showcase for whatever you have to offer.
As well as having video play on your own site, you can leave a large number of videos on video submission sites with your URL displayed in the video. This can be as simple as having yourself, or someone from your business, stand in front of a board with your URL on it, just as sports interviews are carried out with the participants standing in front of a board with the sponsor’s name on. You can go to far greater lengths than that if you want to. If you have the right software, you can create a “ghost” URL in front of the whole video. Any time these videos are seen, there is a chance that the viewer will go on to visit your site.
As well as standard video shot with a video camera, there are other possibilities. You can create a video using Camtasia or Camstudio which will use screen capture. These videos can be added to video sharing sites, and they are especially useful on your own site, where you can demonstrate your own products right in front of your customer’s eyes, whenever they want to see them. At the end of a Camtasia video, you can have the page redirected to any page you choose, which should obviously be your sign up page.
Internet Marketing Idea

Internet marketing can give you a buzz like few other businesses can. Wake up in the morning, and find that you have some nice “You’ve Got Funds!” emails from PayPal, and you will soon find the whole thing becoming addictive.
The sad part of the story is that far too many marketers never make it to that stage, largely because of information overload. Very few people seem able to take an internet marketing idea and run with it.
Internet marketing is fundamentally simple, but that doesn’t make it easy! In many ways, online commerce is just an extension of selling in the bricks and mortar world. You create, or obtain, your products, and sell them through the media.
Where online marketing differs is in the expenses needed to bring a product to market, in the sheer range of people you can reach, and in the depths to which you can mine a market.
A product made only of digital electrons can be produced at a far lower expense than any physical product, even a simple paper one. Even though mail order sales can technically reach the whole world, it rarely happens, whereas on the internet cross border sales are ubiquitous.
You need a market to sell to – that is the first fundamental law of business, but in online marketing, that market can be far smaller than an offline business would consider, and still be viable.
Market niches can be broken down to a greater degree in online marketing, due to the scale of economies involved. This allows the marketer to create products which get right to the heart of the needs and desires of the customer.
One exceptionally effective way of doing this is through simple membership sites. The sites are ideal for the aspiring marketer, as they provide regular revenue. They are also highly satisfying to the seeker of information, who feels part of a kind of exclusive club. You can easily see why membership sites have become an incredibly popular internet marketing idea.
